What to do about that greasy film that coats the inside of squeeze bottles or on pastry brushes? Food stylist Dianne Long (Detroit, Michigan) tells us that hair shampoo works like a charm! Despite claims by liquid dish detergent products, shampoo actually does cut through grease effectively. So pack a little bottle in your kit for last minute clean-up. Another favorite item to slip into your carry-all? Small travel packets of Chlorox (bleach) and Windex wipes, for those prep areas far away from running water and soap.
