A real timesaver for photo is the availability of pre-cooked real bacon pieces--wonderful for topping baked potatoes, in egg dishes, or sprinkled onto cooked pasta. In a recent review of brands, we found that Oscar Meyer bacon pieces are redder than Hormel's product, which is darker, but more realistic looking. The pieces in both products are a good size and irregularly shaped.
